Artist's Comments

This sand model is not my work. . . I'm recording someone else's work here. There are some guys who build these models up and down the coast as a kind of busking exercise. It takes them hours. People watch them work - contribute money. A regular attraction at Byron.

Improved version of this old film shot - one of my most popular deviations.

God!Thats great!
I ve always admired people involved in such hobbies.. cause they know they re doing something great and amazing but that wont be permanente.. that will end almost as soon as they ll finish the work

I think there might be a few guys. I've seen these here a few times and at other beaches - and I'm sure it's not always the same guy - even though the designs are fairly similar.. . Amazing work.

Yes. I agree. . . The model usually lasts the night very well, but you come back later in the day and it's been flattened. I imagine a whole bunch of little kids decide to jump all over it.

Thats an amazing sandcastle put all the one I ever created to shame. At least it's preserved forever in this photo. :+fav:

I think these castles get snapped quite a bit. And deservedly so.
:iconwildplaces:
I agree. I'd love to be able to create something like that.

Now my poor, little beach sandcastles will never seem the same LOL

These are absolutley awesome sand creations. Thanks for sharing them. Add more if you see them.

Yes. I feel the same. . . I used to be somewhat proud of my feeble efforts. . . These are magnificent.
