I love the look on her face and the way the light hits her...and this time with the added red behind her and the black shirt she is wearing, there is enough contrast there to help her stand out a lot more from the background. NICE WORK!!!

Thanks a lot. I don;t usually shoot in strong uneven light like this. It's not easy - but i feel this one worked fairly well.
Well it really does pop! I think some of the best shots and artwork pieces I have seen people do are the stuff they don't typically do...It's good to take chances!!!

  It's different from your usual style but not from your usual quality. Well-done.

As for critique, I think that the blown highlights on her forehead are a little too much. Maybe add some fill light on the other side of her face and bring down the exposure. Or block that harsh light. |
