Wonderful shot. I love where you got the inspiration for the shot. Makes it even better. Jesi looks magnificent. The colors and lighting are perfect. I think this is one of your best shots to date. Great work on both your parts.

Beautiful work Andy (and, of course, Jesi as well),
Excellent soft lighting, and a wonderful location.
The pose is terrific, as alot of people have already noted. Only very minor point I would have for improvement might be the positioning of Jesi's legs. Although I really think the straight leg and bent leg combination adds alot to the pose, it seems a little strained on Jesi's part with her right thigh appearing quite stretched.

It's only a very minor thing, and surely unavoidable for the most part, but I thought I might bring it to your attention, regardless.

We copied this pose out of a shot in a Sports Illustrated swimsuit calendar.

I really like how you composed this shot... she's off-center and also looking off the side of the frame she's on. Really helps convey emotion of the piece.

Weeeeeell... Mosman-based actually! :P (It's a big road!) And she looks like she's great to work with! Tall and thin - just the sort who looks brilliant in a bikini! :D

I do a lot of my shoots in the Mosman area - at Middle Head, Athol Beach, Taylor Bay, Balmoral . . You've got some amazing locations around you.

We do. Just such a pity they're trying to ruin Balmoral - too many shops etc. But still a very pretty beach.

I didn;t know they were putting in new shops. That would be a pity.

They redit the playground a while back - it's taken up a heap of space now... They've redone the fish and chip shop on the corner - dark as the inside of a cow now. Much less inviting and beachy. All browns and blacks and bleurgh. I'm not sure that they're putting more in... More trying to Mosmanise it and make it wanky and poncy and not a nice inviting beach environment.

That's sad. I like that fish and chip shop. It was always white and bright inside I think. . . I used to get my food there before watching Shakespeare by the Sea.

why not? two ways - one the angle of the shot (avoid it) and second clone it out

Stunning. It's amazing how much hair can change a look. With Jesi's hair wet here, it gives quite a different look that we haven't seen before. The pose is great.

Thanks. . . She's not often keen to get her hair wet. Few models are. It does make a difference.

I think this kind of top looks good on her...I'm not sure about the pose though. though I never was big on the profile..I think if she was looking more towards us, it would be much better :)
