I think this is possibly the best sunrise or sunset shot I've ever taken. . . I had it up on DA very early in my gallery but only scanned from a print. I;ve had the negs scanned and this is sooo much clearer.
This is Watego's Beach at Byron Bay again, looking at Cape Byron, the easternmost point of the Australian mainland. . . The shot almost got me a hefty fine. I slept in my van beside the beach in order to be up early enough to get the sunrise. About 4 a.m. the local gestapo rangers came past and told me didn't I know it was an offence to sleep in my car, and they oughta run me in and stuff. Fortunately I had concocted a good enough alibi to just get away with it. . . But it was worth it for the shots. Whoops. Sorry! Reducing size of file. I loaded it much too big. Comments beautiful.. the capture of the sunset and clouds in the sand is perfect.
