The Pass, Byron Bay - sunset 7 by wildplaces The Pass, Byron Bay - sunset 7 by wildplaces
Always a beautiful location for sunsets . . . Here a young child obligingly carries a silhouette into my view. . .

Was the kid going out or coming in for the day? Either way, its a great shot Andy, the arcs of the incoming waves are really cool.

I think he was coming in, or coming further down the beach to re-enter. . . Thanks, Rachel - and for the faves.

Nicely framed! :ahoy:

One thing-- Try downsizing the JPG so that it fits on one screen.

Thanks. I size the photos so that they fit snugly on my screen. . . I'm not sure what size screen I should size them for.

I try to use my 15" monitor as a guide and have the photo at full size occupy about 80% of the space. I think most ppl on the Internet these days have larger and better monitors than mine, so I'm sure it works out.

I have a 17 inch monitor and I size my photos to fit. I figure (perhaps wrongly) that most people will have that size or larger.

I think it's a rule of thumb that if you post large, people want small, if you post small, they want large. ;)

Personally, I liked it: fits on my dual-screen 19" setup just fine. :D

Great shot, too: as you noted elsewhere, the wet sand reflections are just awesome.
