Built in 1897 to honor Emperor Franz Josef I’s 50th Jubilee, the Wiener Riesenrad has been one of the city’s most beloved attractions ever since; it has even played a prominent role in the movie adaption of Graham Greene’s novel “The Third Man”. Located in the Prater, Vienna’s famous amusement park, the ferris wheel provides unique views over the entire city."
