On a rainy evening in Albury, sitting at a table outside a pizza joint, waiting for an Americana, the sky started to do beautiful things. . . The earlier offering was a rainbow to the east - a rainbow at sunset. This shot is looking west at where the light was coming from that created the rainbow. At this stage the rainbow was still there behind me . . .
And then my pizza arrived. Comments There's certainly distortion. I wanted wide angle. Maybe I should have zoomed in a tad.

Very nice shot. Hot red but the rain make it looks cool.  Did you adjust the contrast/shadow in this shot? From what you describe it seem to be brighter then this shot. I find myself playing around with that contrast and shadow a lot when I adjust my picture. Don't you just love it when the photo ops come to you. All you have to do is recognize the oppertunity and take advantage of it. Nice photo!
-- The problem with immediate gratification is that it takes too long. Sure is good. But I hate when the opportunity arrives and I don't have my camera.
It was taken on RAW so I used curves in editing it. That would have involved optimising the contrast.
LOL. I knew someone would ask me about the middle of the street. I actually took a few steps from the kerb to get a more symmetrial shot.  Lol, so this it what happens when you're just waiting for pizza
